Our Mission

Mission
The mission and purpose of the Pacific Northwest Museum of Fly Fishing is to preserve and honor the rich history of fly fishing in the Northwest, educate the public about its unique history, and promote the conservation of fish and fish habitats.  In furtherance of this mission the Museum will:

Celebrate
the lives of people who have made major contributions to Northwest fly fishing;

Preserve
the artifacts, art, literature history and traditions of Northwest fly fishing;

Display and Interpret
these items for the public;

Educate
the public, through classes, demonstrations, and other means, about the nature of fly fishing and the need for conservation of fish and their essential habitats;

Promote
conservation work in support of healthy fish habitats; and

Inspire
the public to protect fish and fish habitats.
